Emily leads Community and Corporate Affairs as part of RAA’s Member, Marketing and Community functions, with a passion for creating positive change for South Australians. Joining RAA after senior roles at BHP and General Motors, Emily brings a practical, solutions-focused approach from her diverse international and local experience.
At RAA, Emily champions our communications, policy and advocacy, community engagement, education programs and partnerships. Her team is responsible for RAA’s community impact fund which invests up to $5m a year in programs to help make South Australia safer, more sustainable, liveable and connected.
Gina joined RAA in August 2018, bringing over 20 years’ experience across customer service, tourism and retail. With a Bachelor of Science (double major in psychology and anatomy), Gina’s career includes senior roles at Flight Centre Travel Group and Bedford Group, where her energy and drive helped teams achieve at every level.
At RAA, Gina is all about raising the bar—combining strategic vision with hands-on leadership to deliver standout service for our members. She is known for channelling her passion for travel and service into creating memorable experiences for members.
Charles is RAA’s Senior Manager, Safety and Infrastructure, a role he has held since 2012. With a background in civil engineering and more than 30 years’ experience in traffic and transport, Charles has worked across local government — including senior roles at Adelaide City Council and the City of Unley — before bringing that deep expertise to RAA. He is an accredited road safety auditor and a national board member of Transport Professionals Australia.
At RAA, Charles leads a team of specialists who investigate road and traffic conditions, analyse crash data and advocate to all levels of government for safer, more accessible infrastructure. He is focused on delivering better outcomes for all road users and ensuring RAA remains a credible, influential voice on the safety and mobility issues that matter most to South Australians.
Peter joined RAA in 2025 as its spokesperson on energy and future mobility. A qualified Town Planner, Peter moved into urban sustainability policy during his time at the City of Adelaide before spending six years at the Department for Energy and Mining. There, he led delivery of South Australia’s Electric Vehicle Action Plan, oversaw the state’s first statewide EV charging network, and delivered the Green Iron and Steel Strategy and an international call for investors in a new iron and steel industry for South Australia.
At RAA, Peter brings deep policy expertise and a genuine commitment to making clean energy and electric vehicles accessible for all South Australians. He is focused on driving meaningful advocacy and policy development that helps members navigate the transition to a cleaner, more connected future.
