Since March, RAA’s existing 6 cent per litre discount at Caltex locations has saved 107,000 RAA members over $1 million.
RAA members who drive electric vehicles can now also save 10% when they use any of the RAA Charge network’s 144 locations across the state.
RAA Chief Executive Officer Nick Reade said the state’s largest membership organisation was expanding its discount program to return greater value to members.
“As a membership organisation, returning value to members is an absolute priority and why we launched our new RAA Rewards Program last year,” Mr Reade said.
“Last financial year, RAA members saved more than $43 million through loyalty discounts and the RAA Rewards Program.”
“This new offer adds to our RAA Rewards program which now has more than 200 partners, saving members money at restaurants, cafes, retailers and on experiences like the movies or going to the zoo.”
Mr Reade said a recent RAA survey found three in four South Australians are concerned about rising costs, making it the most commonly cited challenge for households.
“We speak to our members constantly about the challenges they’re facing – and cost-of-living pressures are almost always at the top of the list,” Mr Reade said.
“A 10 cent per litre discount is a big saving at the bowser and is sure to help motorists, particularly those who do a lot of driving and are vulnerable to the cost of fuel.
“The offer will be available at all Caltex locations, as well as a range of outlets in regional SA – covering the Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Mid North, South East and other regions, with more to come.
“Our previous 6 cent per litre offer has helped 107,000 members save over $1 million since it launched earlier this year.
“With 834,000 members, that means more than 700,000 members haven’t tapped into our fuel discount yet, and we’ll be encouraging them to jump on the RAA website or app so they can save every time they fill up.”
The offer can be redeemed by simply scanning an RAA membership card at the checkout and can be used by members once per day while it lasts.
