RAA’s 820,000+ members could be saving more than $1,100 per year on purchases they’re already making, thanks to the organisation’s member discount program, RAA Rewards.
RAA Rewards gives members access to discounts at more than 100 local suppliers including movie cinemas, supermarkets, pharmacies, fuel outlets, cafes and restaurants – meaning families could be making significant savings on things they’re already buying.
For example, if a family of four was to redeem their RAA discount on the below purchases over the course of a year, they could save $1,132*:
RAA Chief Marketing Officer Michael Healy said RAA Rewards was another example of why it was better to be a member at RAA.
“As South Australia’s largest member organisation, RAA connects with more than 70 per cent of households in the state – and we’re passionate about helping to make their lives easier,” Mr Healy said.
“The ever-increasing cost-of-living is putting pressure on household budgets, and RAA Rewards will help members save money wherever we can – from the checkout to the bowser.
“Last financial year a record 350,000 members used the discount program – helping them save more than $23.5 million overall.
“If you have RAA road service or a home or motor insurance product, or have booked travel valued at $500 or more with us, then you are a member and would have been issued an RAA card – and with that card comes a huge range of deals and discounts.
“If an average family of four just checked the RAA app or website before making everyday purchases, they could potentially be saving more than $1,100 per year.
“You don’t even have to do go out of your way to do anything different – a lot of the activities and expenses a typical person or family might incur are captured in our program.
“We’re always looking to grow our range of member offers on everyday purchases for South Aussies – such as at supermarkets, pharmacies and optical, as well as activities like AFL Max and the movies for the kids.”
