Now’s the time to book Mad March staycations

17 November, 2023

RAA Travel is reminding South Australians to book their CBD staycations as hotel stays are snapped-up ahead of Adelaide’s busiest season.

RAA Travel General Manager Gina Norman said those considering a city stay during Mad March should consider booking right away while options are still available.

“With the Adelaide Fringe, WOMADelaide, test cricket, Tasting Australia and Gather Round taking place early 2024, many interstate visitors are booking up hotels during these peak times,” Ms Norman said.

“Booking your city stay now will ensure you can still book a hotel suitable for you, while getting the best price before demand skyrockets.”

“Some popular accommodation options include the recently renovated Playford Hotel with it’s beautiful award winning Luma Restaurant and Bar which is certainly worth a look.

“We currently have an RAA Travel offer for the Playford Hotel where you can receive car parking and breakfast at the hotel if you book a city stay during the summer months, making for a fantastic deal.

“There’s also the Mayfair Hotel with a stunning rooftop bar, and of course the Oval Hotel at the Adelaide Oval which is great for sports lovers.

“If you are thinking of attending Gather Round next year, EOS by SkyCity still has availability for those wanting a memorable stay with both luxury and convenience in mind.

“There are other fantastic options for accommodation available on our website and RAA Members can enjoy hotel and experience discounts while they’re booking.

“In addition, there’s three new city hotels which are worth checking out, including the Vibe Hotel on Flinders Street, TRYP by Wyndham on Pulteney Street and Hotel Alba on South Terrace.”
