RAA Annual General Meeting a hybrid success

22 November, 2021

This afternoon we held our 118th – and first hybrid – Annual General Meeting.

Members could either attend the event at the West Adelaide Football Club, Richmond, or online via their computers. The event was held as a hybrid to enable us to include more members.

This format follows the success of the 2020 AGM, which took place virtually due to a last minute stay-at-home order by the State Coordinator, and a subsequent change to our Constitution to permit hybrid meetings to be held in the future.

Dozens of members attended the meeting at the club rooms or watched online.

Chaired by President and Chairman of the RAA Board Peter Siebels with co-presenter Managing Director Ian Stone, the AGM saw members form a quorum to:

  1. Confirm the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 16 December 2020.
  2. Confirm the minutes of the General Meeting held on 29 March 2021
  3. Receive the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 30 June 2021.

The AGM also provided a way for RAA to directly address some member questions and celebrate how we kept our members moving through 2020-21 on the road, at home and on holiday.
