RAA Members saved a record $31.3 million through a host of discounts and offers – with more members accessing benefits than ever before.
In the 2022-23 Financial Year, more than 350,000 RAA members took advantage of membership discounts and offers – up almost 100,000 on the previous year.
Chief Marketing Officer Michael Healy said as cost-of-living pressures continued to mount, more RAA members were accessing member discounts and offers than ever.
“It’s certainly better to be an RAA member – you can save on everyday expenses like fuel, food and dining, gym memberships, movie tickets and a whole lot more,” Mr Healy said.
“We know that every household and family across the state are feeling the impact of growing cost-of-living pressures.
“For many families, every dollar counts, and RAA members can save hundreds of dollars a year on expenses and activities they’d usually incur or undertake.
“In fact, tens of thousands of our members save so much using our More for Members program that it offsets the cost of a premium roadside service policy.
“With around 800,000 members that means there’s almost another 500,000 South Aussies who could be flashing their RAA membership card and saving at the checkout, bowser or cinema.
“If you’re an RAA member log on to our app and you can easily scroll through dozens of discounts and savings on everyday expenses and activities.”
Mr Healy said with school holidays underway it was a great time for parents and care givers to take advantage of some of the entertainment discounts and offers.
“There’s plenty of options to save money while entertaining the kids these school holidays, from adventure and wildlife parks to movie tickets.”
The top offers for the 2022-23 financial year were HCF, Repco, OPSM, EG Fuel, Event Cinemas and Wattyl Paints.
