For the fourth year in a row, RAA is proud to partner with the state’s favourite winter calendar staple, lighting up the cold, dark nights and bringing thousands to the city streets.
Illuminate Adelaide is well loved by both locals and visitors alike, with last year’s event bringing 15,000 interstate and international visitors and an impressive 1.3 million attendees throughout the three-week lineup.
This year’s event launched last week and will run until 21 July, with a range of art, music, light and technology featured in the varied program.
As the state’s largest member organisation, and with a suite of Solar and Battery offers available to members, RAA is proud to partner with Illuminate once again.
RAA Chief Marketing Officer Michael Healy said “RAA is all about supporting events that bring South Australians out of hibernation, and all the better that it’s being done with renewable and sustainable energy lighting up the city.
“We feel very aligned to the sustainability and environmental goals of Illuminate Adelaide, particularly around renewable energy – which is why our RAA Solar and Battery business remains a partner.”
This year, RAA achieved a record sell-out of 6,500 discounted member tickets to Fire Gardens, saving members more than $50,000.
“Our members are at the heart of everything we do at RAA, so we were thrilled to see the tickets snapped up so fast and our members reap the benefits,” Michael said.
“We’re also excited this year to launch our RAA Solar Lounge to the event – a chillout zone on North Terrace that forms part of Base Camp.”
Open to members exclusively from Thursday to Sunday (general admission all other times), visitors can enjoy happy hour, enter our competition to win $5,000 towards an RAA solar system, or simply settle in the warmth of the lounge between events.
