Launching in 2024, the RAA Rewards dining program has offered deals and discounts at more than 100 SA eateries – with 47 based in regional South Australia – for RAA’s 840,000+ members.
Since then RAA members have booked over 21,000 tables and generated $5.3 million in restaurant revenue using the program – a real boost for SA’s hospitality industry.
Around 74% of all bookings were also first-time visitors to that location, meaning the program is helping members find new venues to share with friends and family.
The milestone comes as cost-of-living pressures continue to bite many households, with a recent RAA survey showing 57% of South Australians are cutting back on eating meals out to manage rising expenses.
The RAA Rewards dining offers aim to provide cost-of-living support to RAA’s members, while also encouraging them to support SA’s hospitality venues in person, and include add-ons like complimentary meal upgrades, drinks or dessert.

RAA Chief Marketing Officer Michael Healy said the success of the program showed South Australians were still prioritising connection and experiences, but looking for more sustainable ways to do it.
“Cost-of-living pressures mean our members are being more selective about when they eat out, but we want to give them great value and encourage them to keep supporting the venues they love,” Mr Healy said.
“What we’re seeing is members still wanting to enjoy time with family and friends, but choosing to do it in a way that delivers real value and stretches their dollar further.
“In just two years, South Australians have saved $1.2 – money that’s stayed in their pockets while still allowing them to enjoy world class hospitality experiences.
“Our RAA Rewards program is about giving our members practical ways to manage the household budget and get more out of their membership with RAA.”
Sharon Romeo, owner of Fino Vino and Fino Seppeltsfield, said the RAA program had helped bring new customers in the door at both venues.
“Fino Vino and Fino Seppeltsfield has been part of the RAA Rewards program since it began in 2024, and since then we’ve welcomed more than 3,400 guests to our restaurants through the partnership,” Ms Romeo said.
“That’s thousands of diners we may not have reached otherwise, so it’s been a genuine win for our business.
“We love the opportunity to be featured on RAA’s app and website, which gives us great exposure to South Australian diners and encourages them to visit us if they’re ever in town.
“At both locations we offer a complimentary upgrade to an extra course through RAA Rewards – valued at $15 per person.”
