RAA turbocharges fuel discount to 20 cents per litre this weekend
8 October, 2026
RAA is doubling its RAA Rewards fuel discount to 20c per litre for the last weekend of school holidays – giving South Australians a welcome break from high fuel prices amid rising cost-of-living.
For two and a half days only RAA’s 840,000+ members can save 20c per litre at all 56 partner outlets, including 36 across regional South Australia from the Riverland and Limestone Coast to the Eyre Peninsula and Outback.
The limited time discount will run from 12pm Friday 9 October to 11:59pm Sunday 11 October – and is a doubling of RAA’s ongoing 10c fuel discount.
It applies to all unleaded and diesel fuel types, with members simply needing to scan their RAA membership card when they pay.
RAA Chief Executive Officer Nick Reade said the limited-time boost was about putting money back in members’ pockets when they need it most.
“The rising cost-of-living is hitting South Australians from all sides right now – from high fuel prices to interest rate rises – so we wanted to give something back to our members,” Mr Reade said.
“We’re giving our members some much needed relief at the bowser over the weekend and the end of school holidays.
“Whether you’re heading away or just filling up for the week ahead, doubling our fuel discount to 20c a litre means a saving of around $13 on the average tank.
“Since we launched the fuel discount at the end of last year, RAA members have saved over $5 million at the pump – putting millions back into household budgets.”
RAA’s Chief Marketing Officer Michael Healy said global oil prices remained elevated and encouraged motorists to use the RAA app to shop around.
“We know real-time fuel pricing is saving motorists around $55 million each year and coupled with the RAA fuel discount, motorists and households could be saving hundreds of dollars each year,” Mr Healy said.
“The potential savings on offer through our RAA Rewards program can easily offset the cost of a Standard RAA Roadside membership – which ensures being a member is exceptional value.
“And, if someone joined as a member today, they can get a card in their RAA mobile app today to take advantage of the double discount.
“It really does pay to use the RAA app to shop around and get the best deal available.”
